We are an Amish family in Lancaster PA. We are very passionate about growing high quality, nutrient dense food that enhances health. With a focus on restoring soil health by farming with the laws of nature as we nurture and steward God's creation. We believe as our soils improve so does the quality of our fruit, vegetables and grasses increasing the quality of life for both humans and livestock that consume it.
We would love to have you join us on our journey for better food.
Peep! Peep!
What's the story behind our meat bird chickens? We get our chicks just a day old. At this age they are very small and delicate.Baby chicks need around 95 degrees the first week. So the first three weeks is spent in the brooder under a heater and on dry bedding. We feed a chemical-free, non-gmo, soy free, organic chick starter feed.

At three weeks old our chicks now have feathers instead of their chick fluff and are ready for the outdoors. We move them to a mobile chicken coops. This allows them access to fresh grass, chase bugs, enjoy fresh air and sunshine but still protects them from predators like foxes, racoons, hawks, and owls. We move the coop at least once a day and feed a grower feed that is organically grown, chemical free, non-gmo and soy free.
